Corporal punishment should not include beatings, but I do think educators should be able to punish students who are unruly or violent towards teachers or other students. I feel the government should lift the cap on charter schools, but do not think they should be financially supporting the charter schools. Public education is in enough need for money to spread it to charter schools.

Yes g) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in North Carolina's anti-discrimination laws?
I do not feel that affirmative action works, and feel that at this time in the U.S. affirmative action is no longer required.
The state's infrastructure needs to be overhauled and repaired. There needs to be more street lighting, and traffic lights at dangerous intersections. Also, the roads need to be widened enough to allow both motor vehicles and bicycles to travel safely. Education: I do not feel that parents should be required to spend $100/student on school supplies. I feel there are too many people in the administration offices, and feel their salaries could be used to buy the needed supplies, as well as save certain classes (art, music, etc.), and also add new teachers.
